This is Lulu Fellows, who died at the age of 16. I found it peculiar that her statue was contained in this glass box. This, so far, is a practice i have only seen here in Chicago, but it makes sense to protect such an easily weathered statue. People have left Lulu various gifts...money, flowers, small trinkets, etc. inside the holes of her casement. She is obviously the favorite of this cemetery. Perhaps it is said best by the last line of the inscription: "Many hopes lie buried here."
